A cool and slightly breezy morning tempted me out of doors. I decided to play in and among the flowers. Then I wondered if you too, might like to come with me to visit the garden.
Inspired by this beauty and eager to create, I began a new fiber journal artwork. I painted this lovely bluejay with acrylic paints on fabric and carefully cut him out. I am still working on the page, but can hardly wait to share the finished piece with you.

Gorgeous flowers and I'm in awe of your painting talent. Can't wait to see the finished piece.
OMG... I actually thought your bluejay was real!! I always look at the pictures first, then go back and read. Love your painting technique... what are you using as your paint and medium, if I can be so nosy?
This is beautiful!!!!!
Love your flowers and your bird!
Beautiful-both the garden & the blue jay! Which all reminds me, I want to go pick & dry some flowers before they're gone until next year!

And I can hardly wait to see what you do with him! I would love to sit in your garden with all the lovely flowers and a big glass of iced tea!
Beautiful flowers.... I love your Jay. What a pretty boy. My mom gets hundreds of Jays where she lives. She says they are quite the talkers. We only have crows, no pretty Bluejays. :(
Keep up the lovely work!
