Sharing Gratitude

I am always inspired by my dearest friend, Liz. Her thoughtful words, often sharing her thankfulness in life, caused me to take a moment and wander outside to enjoy the sunshine, gentle wind, and partake in the beauty of flowers in full bloom, bursting forth from the trees in our yard.
Most of the landscape along the familiar paths I wander have already blossomed and begun to turn toward their early summer green foliage. But, our trees have always been late bloomers, and I dare say that we are all the richer for it... having a last chance, one more opportunity to enjoy the wonders of this season and be glad.
What are you grateful for today?

tracie...we had to put our airedale sweet puppy down today. we've lived with Sophie for 12 years and her tired body no longer could support her. today i am grateful for:
.holding her in the backseat of the car as she sniffed the wind
.the compassion at our vet's office
.the soft blanket we cradled her in
.ample time to sit on the floor
and hold her after she passed
.having such a noble friend for
12 years
Thanks for reminding me of the beauty of gratitude...xoxo julie

Oh, Tracie I wish I was going to A&S. I didn't learn of it before I had already made arrangements to attend the MD Sheep and Wool Fest. Next year for sure though. I am still a newby at this. But if you get up to the DC area, whenever, I would love to meet too! Until then, it's friendships by blogging! Gotta love it! Fondly, Kim
