An Italian Journey - Part 4 (Final Post): The Journal
Since returning from Italy, I have been
working sporadically to place finishing
touches on the pages of my journal.
As a final Italian Journey post, I
thought I would share a tutorial
video showing a favorite technique
of mine for adding natural elements
to any book.
I am so honored to be invited to teach
again in Orvieto during Fall 2012. Going
to Italy was a dream I never thought possible.
Now to think of returning is beyond exciting,
and I would love to have you join me!
Make plans now to ensure you will be part
of this incredible adventure. Email me for
details - TheRedDoorStudio@yahoo.com.

That was positively wonderful! I would never have thought to use the mica! Clever. Very clever. Thanks for all of your effort! Your trip must have been amazing! I'm really giving next year's trip some serious thought!
Thank you so much for the tutorial. It was wonderful! Your book has inspired me so much. There are a few happy people who are grateful also as they received nest shadow boxes inspired by your book. My sis turns 50 in a few weeks and your book is in the art themed birthday box. Thanks so much!
Is there something else we could use to cover the leaves instead of Mica?
Hi Tracie,
What a great tutorial. I love how you incorporate
nature in all of your work.

Thanks, Traci ... excellent tutorial ... I've wanted to use mica, and now I think I'll try it!
You are amazingly inspiring!!
I can't wait for a spare moment to get going on my art journals again.
Did you take the Fuji instant film camera on your trip? If so, I wondered how you like it.
You, me, Italy...Sounds like a good time. Maybe my lucky sweepstakes certificate will show up and I can go in 2012, Thanks for the video. I like that idea.
