Foxglove LOVE!

I am back in the studio after a LONG holiday week.
It feels good to have my paints out and to be creating.

The lavender foxglove are full bloom in the garden right
now, which has me excited to immortalize such beauty
through several new artworks.

"Ye valleys low, where the mild whispers rise
Of shades, and wanton winds, and gushing brooks
On whose fresh lap the swart-star sparely looks:
Throw hither all your quaint enameled eyes,
That on the green turf suck the honeyed showers,
And purple all the ground with vernal flowers."

So very beautiful!! One of my favorite pieces of all time for sure. Foxglove are my favorite flowers. I always get so excited when I discover them around our neighborhood in people's yards. Thank you for a lovely post my friend.
Hugs,
Holly
