Adding to my Cabinet of Curiosities, feather
findings.
Fragile treasures left behind from what looked
to be a terrible struggle. And I could not help
but shed some tears as I gathered this collection
of various feathers strewn about the garden.
I suppose in life not all gifts are given freely or
without struggle. Yet, I am comforted that these
beautiful remains will live on, if only as inspiration
for this humble artist.

I love the feathers. I think our decor is similar - nature's gifts. Wishing you a beautiful weekend.
Wow- really stunning. When a neighborhood fox killed my favorite hens this past spring, the hardest thing to see was their beautiful feathers, scattered over the snow... I loved those silly birds!!
I love feathers too...I have a HUGE box of exotic bird feathers from working at a bird sactuary and from a friend who rescued birds. The colors are so vibrant. But I also have lots of wild birds feathers too but only a few of this bird you show here. Wonderful how you created the art with the feathers.
