Crossing Paths

Not all chance meetings are welcome encounters.

The above photo makes me giggle,
as I can't help but smile after seeing
the expression and body language of
my beloved Blue Jay at this squealing
Starling.

But!

All is well in the end...

with a coveted treat to take home.

Wow, How wonderful that you caught that! I get them both too but haven't seen them together yet. The robins in our apple tree were tolerating a couple of starlings last week.

LOVE these! The expression on the blue jay's face says "wtf?" LOL

LOL! I love these and started making up dialogue. I love the way the jay just sat there looking so poised and un-affected. "I am the favorite one, go find your own peanuts, chap." Or "whatever". Thanks for the giggle.

Fabulous :-)
We buy bags of peanuts with the hopes of attracting the Jays, but the squirrels gobble them all up!
