This past week I took an unexpected break from my normal routine after being involved in a studio accident when a twenty year old piece of equipment failed, sending me tumbling backwards onto a concrete floor. Honestly the incident would have probably won first prize on America's Funniest Home Videos if I had had someone there filming. And after many days of nursing some terrible cuts and bruises, having some really sore muscles, and only being able to get around at a turtle's pace, I can finally look back and chuckle at the whole scene.
It has been a rather quiet week of me stationed in one spot painting... so I have a few peeks of my currently works-in-progress to share.

Oh, Tracie! I'm so, so sorry! Enforced breaks are never as much fun as they sound like they could be! I love that you have chosen to, "Bloom where you're planted!", though! So much, the cheerful spirit that I have grown to recognize and admire in you! I hope you're mended and feeling yourself quickly! Love!

Yike....Glad that you are ok....I am quite amazed that you can keep creating beautiful art....regardless of your recovering from an accident. Hope you are completely recovered soon.

Hoping you are able to relish the slow pace as your body mends.
So very pretty! As always I'm struck by your use of color. For example, those little dabs of blue/purple on the cone flowers. It really makes your paintings vibrant.
I'm glad you're recovering!
Oh no! I hope your bumps and bruises are healing quickly. Your paintings are gorgeous and I hope they make you as happy as they make me. Soft hugs
Hope you're on the mend now, Tracie!
Best wishes

So sorry to hear of your accident, but what superb art has come out of your hurt. Hope you are back to normal soon. LoL xx
Glad you are feeling better. I fell backwards off my chair in my studio a few months ago... still nursing an achy back that the sore spot keeps moving around! doh!!
My goodness! Glad you are better! So sorry for your tumble! Hopefully you've replaced the culprit!
OH MY! Happy you are chuckling now and creating still. Wish you a complete recovery. Judith, Texas

WOW - I just LOVE the fresh feeling of these flowers and bird - wish I had your touch with white and contrast. Maybe I'll put that on my sketchbook mission list...
OOh! What a shame Tracie. Hope you are feeling better. The new paintings are just beautiful.
