Be It Ever So Humble...

I am home today, settling into
the familiar, after being away on
vacation over the last twelve days.

A vacation was an excellent way
to celebrate the beginning of
2010. In fact, it was the first
time in more than ten years
that I was physically away and
unable to communicate via phone,
internet, or any other electronic
device with the outside world.
What a strange feeling it was.

Although I enjoyed this away
time, it definitely feels good
to be surrounded, once again,
by the walls of my creative space.

I am busy working on several
important tasks, during this first
day back. such as placing the
finishing touches on the delightful
packets for my upcoming workshop
at the French General.

I am just so excited about this
class. It is SUCH a WONDERFUL
way to spend a few relaxing hours
engrossed in creativity with paint
and poetry, incorporating paper
scraps like old ledger paper, photo
mats, dictionaries and books, also
learning a technique on how to
sketch from a photo that requires
no drawing skills.

I do hope you will come join me
from 11 a.m to 2 p.m. on Saturday,
January 23rd. ALL supplies for the
workshop are included in the price.

You can call (323) 668-0488
to reserve your place or select
the following link - French General
and go to "Workshops"
to register on-line.

I am also working diligently on some VERY
SPECIAL
Etsy Valentine Treasures.

I can hardly wait to unveil them when my
little shop
reopens this Saturday, January 16th.

Below is a sneak peek...
